Cabarrus Care Fair

The inaugural Cabarrus Care Fair was held on April 28, 2007 at the Carolina Mall in Concord, North Carolina.

The purpose of the Cabarrus Care Fair was to provide exposure to more than 50 non-profit organizations, in one place, for anyone who was considering volunteering their time.

This was the first event of its kind in Cabarrus County. Potential volunteers had a wide range of non-profit organizations to visit. Anyone who was interested in volunteering their time had the opportunity to ask questions, collect literature and sign-up on the spot (if they chose). It was a low-pressure, information-gathering opportunity for anyone who was considering volunteering a little or a lot of time with an organization.

The Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Cabarrus Class of 2007 would like to thank all of the organizations and individuals who helped to make Volunteer Cabarrus and the Cabarrus Care Fair a reality.
